questions in A Dark Place

Is this game still being worked on? I haven't played the sequel of it but I was able to finish the first one, I'm kinda worried as I've seen that the last message on this community was posted a year ago. This saga is pretty good.

I recently discovered that the music that plays when Nightmare exits the game and onto your desktop is Plain Asia but distorted (as the file name says), I wonder why you chose this to play during Nightmares escape? Was it just fitting when distorted?

On my first playthrough of A Dark Place I found a few rare stuff, the first one was just after the Nightmare RAT thing and I ended up in a glitchy place and found a thing called the Watcher, it stared at me and then attacked me, did other people find this
