How does one have the mental stability to make a backstory for the dnd character they play as-?

I finally got D&D beyond and I love it

Backstory for my character. Chieko,came from a city of clouds called Kingdom of Angelorum.daughter to a good but powerful king who lives there.She left home to go exploring with ofc the permission by her dad. And this is all i can think of really for now

😭 i wrote down my dnd characters backstory and now its gone because i restarted my pc without saving it,Im now sad bc i worked hard on it =C
