I managed to get the 2012 client running on Linux without it being completely broken via Novetus, but there's a small problem: my character is a bit buggy. As you can see, it remains gray toward the bottom, but the rest seems to work as it should.

Valve is reportedly developing Lepton, an Android compatibility layer for Linux based on Waydroid. This project appears to be their answer to Proton (their Windows compatibility layer), but for Android applications.

If you want to play Fortnite on Steam Deck, for example, you can do so by installing WinBoat. The difference is that it's a real emulator, so there's no risk of being banned.
