bashful and vegaful have too few party members to justify the presence of the permadeath mechanic
at minimum i think a game should have at least ten party members for that
that said, i much prefer the trauma mechanic because it can affect protagonists too

Related to my previous post: Do you think this character is wearing a breastplate, or a sports bra? I'd assume it's a breastplate but I'm genuinely not sure since it's not like they bothered to armor their midsection.

just checked out frugvevo's stream of bashful and it only reminded me how terribly animated cain's moveset was aside from how he somehow manages to be worse than gary
i ought to make a mod that addresses that
