I got my Plush, and now for the rest of his days somewhere in my room he will just be watching and occasionally be interacted with

quick question: is it possible for me to back up my save file? I had to delete all my stuff on a PC because of privacy, I had to start without all badges, will there be an update to back up my save file, because I'm starting a new run next time.
