You were outdoors with a group of friends, when you got lost and had no signal. You ended up in a unfamilliar town, called Raven Brooks. You need to find a way out before the approaching storm engulfs you.

Meaning of the title:

Echoes" represent memories, events, or voices from the past—things that linger and return.

"Masked" implies those echoes are being hidden, distorted, or covered up—perhaps by someone trying to keep the truth buried.

The town seems peaceful, but beneath the surface are echoes of past horrors or trauma, all masked by suburban normalcy.

Interpretation: The town (or the citizens) are hiding something from the past that still echoes through the present, but it's being masked—covered by lies, fake appearances, or deception.
