Ok, I did actually really enjoy this game! I can definitely see what you were going for!
I did get extremely lost for a period of time (which was my fault) but I do think there should be someway of a little navigation, maybe not a map but just something to refer to.
I did have lag in my play through, but I've read your comments and have seen that you've made adjustments in the newest build, which isn't the version I played!
I'm also not sure what happens when the enemies catch you, because I did get caught I'm pretty sure, but nothing happened.
Either way, an enjoyable experience!
Here's my play through for those interested:
You need to either reduce the camera view considerably or not use so much grass as I found it very laggy in some areas. How much of it will be original assets?

Livesdale, a town long abandoned under a shroud of mystery. An entire population left in a single night and never spoken of by those who once called its borders home.
Rumors tell of a dark past of murder, scandal, and possible cults, but none can say for certain what drove the inhabitants of Livesdale to leave their home so suddenly. What secrets could this old town possibly hold?
Livesdale: Forgotten Birthright is the first Horror game from Blak Iron Studios and promises to be a sprawling story exploring the possibility of what the abandoned cities of the world could possibly be hiding deep within.
Featuring distinct Lovecraftian elements and a deep tale of conspiracy and fear, Livesdale: Forgotten Birthright throws you into a foggy town on the outskirts of the county into a chain of events that prove to be far darker than could be imagined. Can you navigate a town long devoid of life and discover the dark secrets deep within? Tread carefully, you may live to regret delving so deep into the shadows.
