Hello, i am having trouble getting this mod working right. the issue is that whenever i want to play a song, i can hear the music but no notes appear to play, no matter what i do.
I am on windows and playing the game through steam.
And yes i have ckeckt the description on how to install it properly and tried multiple times.
Can anyone help?
This is AWESOME!!! are you planning on releasing any more already compatible songs for this, such as the ones in your video on this? Or are we left to try to learn how to make them for ourselves?
This mod is GREAT, and I have a suggestion to make... but it might be very time consuming to implement. I was thinking how cool it would be if there was a in-game chart editor so you can chart and play your own songs (without going into the game files) Similar to the chart editor in Psych Engine for FNF. If it isn't possible, it's fine, the mod would still be great without it, I just believe this would be a great feature for you to add later in development. Thanks,

tl;dr: this mod really fun! id like it if you posted the changelogs to the game page so we get notified about updates. id might try to fix the sync issues and would like to know where i could contact you if i succeed. i would also like to see you chart "From Now On (Battle 2)".
un-tl;dr: this mod was really fun! but may i request that you post the changelogs with each update here so i can know when you update this? i know you do that on gamebanana, but i dont use that. idk how it works there, but on gamejolt, pushing an update to the game doesnt send out a notification, youd have to make a post on the game page, since those do send notifications (ive never done this myself, but ive used gamejolt and ive checked and theres no option to get notifications when a followed game updates.)
that aside, i may try to see if id be able to fix the sync issues. ive done that kind of thing before with fnf, and ive even managed to access the chart editor myself. id need to actually learn how to use the editor though. if i succeed in this endeavor, where may i be able to contact you to send them over?
also could you chart "From Now On (Battle 2)"?
Better Rhythm Games (Song Menu Update)
Ever wanted to play a better version of the Lightners Live mini-game from Deltarune Chapters 3 & 4, but you got tired of playing the same 3 songs over and over again? Well, now you can play with even MORE songs, with an improved GUI, visuals, songs, and so on! And if that somehow doesn't convince you, let it be known that I have implemented non other than Pluey into the game! Now, doesn't that make you just wanna give it a try?

MAJOR UPDATES
A completely NEW and enhanced menu system has been added into the mod! Now there are several albums which contain their dedicated songs respectively. There are of course a bunch of other features which have been added other than this, as well as some new charts and re-charts too! For more info about that, feel free to check out the dev log here! (Also, a small hint... If you for whatever reason don't like the VHS overlay in the menu, you can turn it off by going into "Settings" within CONFIG).

Let it be known that this is NOT the final version of the mod. There are still so many things I want to fix, change, and add, I can't even begin to describe my plans for the future! I prefer keeping most of my ideas under wraps until the updates come out, but here is a list of various things I want to fix for the upcoming updates:
Fix the note system so hard mode doesn't have to be "pixel perfect."
Fix the scoring system (shorter songs tend to be counted towards Z-Rank despite missing no notes).
Add a button to change the master volume of your game when inside a song (using plus or minus).
Have the door's speakers play the last song the player was on, continuously playing even after exiting the song selection menu (this will only reset to mute once the player goes back to the rest of the room).
Add more "events" within each custom song.
Add more tiny improvements, similar to the door's background when it opens up.
Add more NPCs to fill the open space within the room (it was funny at first, but honestly it makes more sense if I added more rooms and NPCs to fill up the place).
Add more options within the "CONFIG" menu, like note offset, note color changes and more (NOTE: I'm unsure if I can even do this yet, but I will pray for the best).
Of course, the ideas for this mod will only get bigger and bigger as time goes on, with the very ambitious goal of being able to achieve a similar status as other rhythm game engines, like Psych Engine or Kade Engine for Friday Night Funkin'!

Also, something very important to note; Hard mode is NOT recommended! Not that you can even play it right now, it's currently under construction to make the charts for them. But either way, this is because Deltarune's difficulty system handles the notes by making things more "pixel perfect," and a lot of these charts may end up feeling super annoying to play because of this. Trust me, normal mode is just as difficult as you might expect from hard mode!

has done an amazing job fixing a bunch of the original charts, as well as continuing to make more charts for future songs! Without them, I would still be stuck worrying about chart fixes, when I instead spent my time adding other mechanics into the game!

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE MOD?
Please make sure to read the directions in the mod folder. It can be very easy to get stuck on something, especially when you think you know what to do without reading things over. The steps to downloading the mod are pretty self-explanatory, just make sure to read everything carefully, that's all. Enjoy!
