Starting to work on the AI

So I’m starting to work on the enemy combat AI. Right now it’s really basic with the AI going fully aggressive, but you’re able to more or less, visually see what move the AI makes each turn.

First cutscene revisited

I changed up how the starting settlement looks like, so I needed to update the cutscene too. Just need to to put in new character portraits and finalize the dialogue and the first cutscene will be officially done!

Monthly Devlog (July 2018)

Updated the region map

Added more commands for when you’re in the region map, like going forwards/backwards, stopping, or looking for a random encounter.

Squad tutorial

Finished the Squad tutorial. Probably going to be 3 tutorials (Squad, map, combat initiative) so almost there!

Percentage chance to hit

Getting closer to finishing the combat scene. Added the UI elements that show the percentage chance to hit an enemy.

Popup for new party members

Added a popup for when you get a new party member so you can right away tell what their main specialization is.

Updated dialogue UI & popup

Updated the dialogue interaction visuals and there’s now a popup when the player receives an item, gains a party member, etc.

Reworked Dosero, the starting area

Wanted the starting area to looks similar to a military base so completely changed the layout. Modified a little of how the dialogue box looks like too.
