What do you think?

Really awesome idea, however I failed at it... XD If you'd like to take a look, I included it in part 9 of my Game Jolt contest 10 compilation video :) http://youtu.be/3UFvOCEe98s

Cool game. Pretty interesting card game. Gets a bit boring after a bit, though. Some more cards would've been nice. 3/5

nice i haven't seen a card game in awhile!

All was normal at the Phi Lambda Nu house ase the cats partied the night away...until suddenly...ZOMBIES!

Cats vs Zombies is a Magic-inspired card game pitting cats against zombies. Play through five battles as you work to defeat the necromancer and return peace and tranquility to the galaxy.

This game was created and submitted for GameJolt Contest 10.

How to play:

Each turn consists of two phases, setup and combat. During the setup phase, the player may play one mana card and as many cats/zombies as his/her mana can support. For the cats, mana cards are mice and birds, while the zombies have graves and brains.

On your turn, you may perform one round of combat. To do so, click the crossed sword icon beneath one or more creatures in the battlefield. When you click the 'Attack' button, those creatures will be committed to the attack. At that time, the opposing player similarly selects creatures to defend by clicking the shield icon below the creatures. Creatures attack and defend against the card immediately across from them on the battlefield.

Each creature has a strength and toughness score listed at the bottom right corner of the card (ex: 2 / 1). This means each combat round, that creature can deal 2 damage (strength) and must receive 1 damage to be destroyed (toughness). So, if a 2/2 creature fights a 1/1 creature, the 2/2 creature will remain alive and the 1/1 creature will be removed from play. Conversely, if a 2/2 creature fights a 2/1 creature, both will be removed as each receives damage equal or greater than its toughness.

If no creature defends an attack, the defending player receives damage equal to the creatures strength.

Creatures that attack are 'exhausted' and must rest until the next turn for that player.

Play continues until one player's hitpoints are reduced to 0.
