Omg someone made an ekranoplan game
This would greatly benefit from online highscores.
I really liked the graphics and the music, and the gameplay is nice, but needs more variety. Keep working on this!
It's a nice game
I think the visual need something more, maybe some polishing, but still the gameplay is nice, I like it :)
That's looks pretty!
Nice! I would like to see it when it's submitted :)
HTML5 WebGL Ekranoplan game. GJContest9.
Made with Scirra Construct 2.

In a near future where the gulf stream has been disrupted; sea levels have risen to a considerably less desirable level; storms have become more and more frequent; and volcanos are exploding all over the bloody place. On an equally chaotic yet entirely unrelated eventuality of the near future, a really big meteor has broken up over Russia... again! In such a time, what is one to do to survive!? There is only one way to escape almost certain nautical peril at the hands of cosmological chaos... Quickly!, everyone!, onto the Ekranoplan!
Pilot a high speed Ekranoplan across a lovely WebGL sea and try not to be killed to death by meteor and/or your inability to adequately pilot a high speed Ekranoplan down a river that is evidently not well suited to such a vehicle.
This version was made in 10 days for GJContest9.
Update plans:
Priority is to make the WebGL and particle effects optional to make it enjoyable on older browsers and computers. The game runs playable on a Core 2 Duo @ 2.6GHz with a Radeon 4550 but I understand some people may not have much graphics processing power at all which would make this game unplayable.
The gameplay will be reworked. With just 10 days I focused more on creating visuals and audio than creating lots of core gameplay mechanics. So I would like to rework that, add different levels and obstacles and structure out the sequences better. Maybe a ship upgrade screen between levels to choose different perks and abilities. A z-axis for flight controls.
