What do you think?

Really unique gameplay with a lot of potential. The level editor is well made and the ability to upload levels and share them is great. It doesn't have a story or any level progression, but the level editor is fun to use. There aren't a whole lot of different items yet but hopefully some more could be added (it would be great to have blocks that the chain couldn't attach to, or maybe blocks that the chain could attach to but the player could go through)

Overall it's a fun game that's put together very nicely, but still lacks some content.

Important Information: development of this version of Chain Playground has been suspended indefinitely.

Chain Playground is a puzzle-platformer where you build your own levels, upload them for others to play, and play levels that other people have made.

You navigate levels using a spike on a chain. You launch this spike at anything in the level and get pulled toward objects you latch onto. You can unlatch the chain during flight to cover longer distances. You can also lock the chain and use it to swing around objects.

0.5.0pre1 IS RELEASED!
The level editor doesn't work since I was in the process of overhauling it when this happened, but online functionality is back. As soon as the level editor is minimally functional again, I promise I'll release pre2. Again, sorry!

ONLINE FUNCTIONALITY HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY DISABLED!
A fatal security flaw was discovered in the current build of the game, so its online functionality has been disabled. Currently, you won't be able to play online levels. I'll keep you updated. Sorry.

0.4.1 is out! It fixes some minor graphical issues related to nodes. Lava now has a new visual effect too!

0.4.0 is out, and it brings some new features to the game! Moving platforms can now have more complicated paths, and nodes can be turned into triggers that get activated when the player enters them!

0.3.2 is out, and it's another bug-fix along with some improved graphics! There's also a credits menu on the title screen.

0.3.1 is out, and it's a minor bug-fix update. An important note: If you have created levels and want to have them in 0.3.1, they are in the "StreamingAssets" folder within the game's files. Just copy them over and you should be good!

0.3.0 is out! See, I told you I'd be quick. It is crucial that anyone with older versions update. I repeat, VERSIONS BEFORE THIS ONE NO LONGER WORK!

Thank you!

The game's online features will be down temporarily while I fix a fatal bug. From now on, builds before 0.3 will no longer have online functionality for safety reasons. For this reason I'll try to get this update out as fast as possible. Sorry.

0.2.0 has just been released. You can now like or dislike levels, and the number of times a level has been downloaded is now shown.

Just some important information: Plays, upvotes, and downvotes for levels are not currently being tracked. I am going to have that implemented in the next update, which should be soon.
