Had a play of the game. I liked the GameBoy aesthetics and the idea of doing a filthy, raunchy GameBoy game that Nintendo would never have approved ... but I think you could have done more with it. It feels like it was just an excuse to write dirty words with a GameBoy font. Have a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3t-LQorw4o
Wow, I really liked it ... I was at start quite amused by the contrast between the language and the look, and then started to feel more and more uncomfortable.
The ending confirmed this, it is definitely not a "fun" game!
When the "jump" choice appears, it is quite a striking moment
I'd love to see more from it, did you make any other game?
Congrats on doing your entry for Gameboy, that's already an achievement. The game looks really nice, but the narrative setting is... disturbing to say the least.
It was hard also to have a proper sense of objective or progress so I must admit I got a bit lost after some time.
The first trivia was really a neat idea btw!

It's all just fun and games.

This is a Game Boy game made with GB Studio 1.1.
Yes, it even works on a real Game Boy or emulator (briefly tested in DMG, GBC, AGS-101, AGB-001, Gambatte). There is also a web-playable version for your convenience.
Don't be fooled though, despite being a Game Boy game it would never have been approved by Nintendo and is not suitable for children.
I have released the entire game as free software! Check out https://murks.itch.io/darts for further information.
Everything save for a few exceptions has been drawn by myself during the jam.
Exceptions are the engines default UI, font and two characters from the sample project which I slightly modified (MIT license, same as the engine, you can see the originals here: https://www.gbstudio.dev/docs/sprites/).
The cut scene font is m5x7 and "free to use but attribution appreciated", courtesy of Daniel Linssen (https://managore.itch.io/m5x7).
