i can explain the "backstory" behind this quick:
one person starts working on a deltarune yellow take (DRY(1))
after a little while he decides to shelve the project. lets me use some of his sprites (hence why the cole/kanako sprites on my game page look similar)
over the next few months he decides to work on DRY(1) on and off while i slowly work on the core systems for my take (DRY(2))
eventually he decides to drop the project to make an original game for more creative freedom.
over the last few weeks some people asked if he'd upload what he has of his project
yesterday he uploaded it to catbox
someone else decided to upload it here to make it seem more trustworthy (lol, lmao)
EDIT: all safe
now, all of this happened anonymously. so im not exactly sure if its safe either.but, the page here does have previews i dont think he's shared before. there's also the fact that the downloads between the catbox and here are the exact sameregardless, i'd suggest testing it on a virtual machine first just to be safe.
Hello this time I am commenting to say I had a great time with this game.
This is probably one of the best deltarune fangames out there right now and it deserves more attention
I went along and drew custom Cover art for the game in the same vain as the Deltarune cover art, I made it 1-1 with a custom fountain illustration in the background and a new color palette.
It took a long night and some good studying but I managed to get it done and I hope it is acceptable, I would love for this to be the Games Cover art.
The game is genuinely too good and underrated, I can't wait for the future chapters. Looking forward to it!

if you guys want i can help with some sprite i like the concept the game is pretty cool however i think that you guys should have waited a bit longer before publishing the chapters to polish everything however its really good

Deltarune Yellow project that a friend made. I was not the one who made this game. I've just been given permission by the original developer to publish this game here. (This is a project made by one person and not by a team)
This is also a game different and separate from the thedeltaruneyellowguy dry game. I recommend you check his game out, especially since hes still working on it. (Read thedeltaruneyellow guys comment in the comment section. He explains the situation, very well)
Now here is the Game description, of this game (not thedeltaruneyellowguy game):
-Controls are the basic UT/DR controls
-You can hold space to fast skip text
-The game should last 2 to 3 hours until half of chapter 2
-There is a weird route in chapter 1 but its pretty bad and unfinished, it doesn't go to chapter 2
-There might be glitches/softlocks

(Also if you get windows protect your pc message that's because of unknown publisher. Me and others checked the files, and there's no viruses or other bad things in it. However if you want to be super careful you can use Malwarebytes, Windows Defender and Virus Total to scan the files.)
