Please finish it. I look forward to the full version. Also, maybe you can make different viruses to battle with different abilities. Like Stuxnet (can have a charge able Hi-power laser, but needs to rest for 2 sec. after using at full charge.), Conficker (which has a worm-like shape and can control where you shoot for 3 sec. every 30 sec.), MyDoom (duplicates its self every 40 sec. but has minimal health.), or even RedWorm (The hardest one, only takes 5 hits to kill YOU, small, and fast. ALSO looks like a red worm.) Maybe a Multiplayer version would be good too.

Good:
I like the concept
The attention to detail in the OS is impressive
I like the polygonal CG style of the enemies
Bullet Hell is always nice
Bad:
The giant hitbox is unpleasant
Having to click and drag to move (and reclick after an some shots hit you) is awful
You sometimes don't notice when your shot is refilled so you lose some time
Suggestions:
Always have the Antivirus follow the cursor without having to drag
When the shot is refilled, accompany it with a distinct sound and visual effect

Don't Get a Virus requires a keyboard and mouse. You'll have a really tough time playing with a trackpad, trust me. The game basically works like an operating system. You control the antivirus window by dragging it around and pressing space to fire. You can change the wallpaper and game difficulty in the settings application. There are also some computer apps you can run, and some files to look at.
This game is being developed with the LÖVE framework. https://love2d.org/ The assets were made in GIMP, Blender, and Audacity.
