The old version of the mod, now outdated.

Here we go again...


Five Nights at Wario's Alternate Edition is a Five Nights at Wario's 1 mod that aims to make the game much less of a FNaF 1 clone and much more fun by adding tons of new mechanics and features. Is this just a mod? A full recode? A rework? Hell if I know, I'm just tryna make something.

Note: A new version of the mod is being developed, v0.2.0. The old version, v0.1.x, is still available to download, but compared to the new version, it's REALLY bad.

Is it weird having a whole section for how I want my FNaW mod to be accessible? Yeah. Next question. Here's a list of accessibility features I wish to implement:

  • Subtitles/Closed Captions. for all spoken dialogue (e.g. phone calls) and important sound effects (e.g. footsteps), making it possible to play the game even if you're deaf/hard-of-hearing, or maybe you're like me and just prefer having a little extra information. The appearance of the subtitles can be customised in various ways to make them as readible as possible.

  • Colorblind Mode. Simply adding extra indicators so that information isn't only conveyed by color.

quick update (not a new buid):

i took a short break and now i can hopefully make more updates to the game

also Rain Mode will not continue development until Standard Mode is 100% complete, sorry

oh yeah here's some more stuff about Endless Mode:

- It can only be accessed from the CN menu
- Power increases by 50 ever 30 seconds
- I haven't playtested it a lot so let me know if there are any bugs

anyway New Patch!

- Added Endless Mode! Idea once again from v6.0
- Added "Gamejolt Trophies" button to title screen (only appears when logged in)

just realised i fucked up on the Rain Mode preview i forgot to make something disappear one sec im releasing a patch

New patch!

- You can now see a preview of Rain Mode's title screen after beating Night 6 by clicking the its button in the Mode Select menu
- Slight adjustments
- Replaced some strings with Actives
- Made characters *slightly* slower on Night 6
- Etc

sHIT i forgot to actually publish the damn package fuckign hell

anyway now you should be able to download v0.1.3

New patch!

- Did some optimizations so frame transtions should work on more machines
- Added shockwave effect from the title screen to the office (please tell me if I should remove it)
