Using a modification of the DERPG VX Engine... Keyboard Hero comes to the rhythm gaming world as a music interaction game similar to the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises (Even looks and plays the same). The primary goal of Keyboard Hero is to allow the end user to experience music created by FL Studio composers (Fruity DLC) or other media in Multitrack audio.
As the game states, it uses multitrack audio, meaning if you miss a note, only the instrument mutes, not the entire song. Keyboard Hero is powered by FMOD sound engine which allows for song encryption and various effects like song echo and whammy in realtime.
With Version 7.5, you will be able to play custom songs that work on Frets on Fire, FoFiX, Phase Shift, Guitar Hero 3, and more just by copying them over (Some exceptions apply). Keyboard Hero has a DLC system added on, allowing the player to download songs made by composers specifically for the game. Even more songs, mostly composed by artists specifically for the game are planned to be released via DLC later on.
