What do you think?

The controls aren't working for me!

I like the style. I also like how the background gets more distorted with each drink.

My best was 26. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but my high score doesn't seem to get recorded by Game Jolt, so in-game my high score is listed correctly, and out of game, Game Jolt says I haven't scored yet.

Oh, I like how the main character's antlers are simplified in-game, to little "F" shapes. I'm not sure why, but the right angles in everything kind of add to the charm of the graphics, and also stand out against the increasingly wobbly backdrop.

Speaking of increasingly wobbly, I got double teamed a few times, and when I say double teamed, I mean folded into a nightmare dimension where time exists only to provide for the eternal omnidirectional punching of my face. Lesson learned. In Kilkenny, never pick a fight with more than one person at a time, even if you have antlers. :)

Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this game. :)

Quite the challenging game. I included it in part 9 of my GBJam 4 compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/bzNkMX1JInI

Fun game! I love the weirdness of it, and how the background gets more and more swirly as you go on! Great job!

Description
Developed for #gbjam

I was in Ireland for the majority of the period gbjam was running, so I figured I'd try and produce an Irish themed game. That is why you control a Red Deer, and you are fighting against other animals mad at you in an Irish Pub. Fight your way from both sides, dodging the stuff they throw at you and to punch them down before they have a chance to punch you!

Controls - Keyboard/Gamepad
The buttons follow a similar keyboard/gamepad layout as my last #gbjam entry, Galaticus. Therefore, only the descriptions of the keys have been changed.

D-Pad: WASD or Directional Keys / DPad or Left Analog Stick - Navigate, Combine with A to Attack (Left/Right), Crouch (Down)

A: J Key / A Button - Combine with Directional Keys to Attack

B: K Key / B Button - Drink

Start: Enter / Start Button - Select, Pause

Press F / Trigger Buttons at any time to toggle full screen.

Versions
You can play either the flash or windows versions of Kilkenny, both versions are virtually the same, although Windows requires you to modify one text file (gamejolt.txt) if you want to connect to the GameJolt API (the flash version does this automatically if you are logged into GameJolt).

FOR LETS PLAYERS AND REVIEWERS: I recommend using the Windows Version to record game footage, as Flash builds of Haxe games tend to decrease in frame rate when being captured with software like Fraps and OBS.
