I'm new to GameJolt and i was saving the first comment to a real good game.
I think i've found the one!
I loved the atmosphere, the graphics, the philosophy behind everything.
This game was just great!
You did a good job with that game, but there are some things I didn't like about it, first : the music, at the begining it's peaceful and enjoyable but suddenly a weird sound for the entire game, it brought me a headache; second: it's hard to understand, there is no guide through the game, after I did a few quest I killed everyone, I didn't know what to do next, but in general the game is cool, good work.
i really liked the concept of the game! the sound was a little bit too much in my opinion, i had to turn it off half way through because i got a really bad headache.
but thats only a little minus for me, like the bug (i guess) that i couldnt get out of the water again, after i got that fish. but after a restart i was at the starting point again, so no problem.
what bugs me the most was the ending because i didnt get everything the godess told me, like something about a starving boy and i didnt even remember talking to a boy telling me that he was hungry or something like that. there were a few things i couldnt connect to the quests i did but besides that: great work.
Sentimentally beautiful game! Very thought-provoking experience that really gets the overall theme and main message through to the player. The soundtrack is elegant, (though extremely eerie a good amount of time) leaving me with various sorts of chills down my spine. The gameplay has a very puzzling and dark overtone to it. Additionally, the environment/art style and ambience definitely gave me the spooks. But overall, it is horrifyingly charming in its own unique nature.
Completely adored this game! Amazing work! :D
Here's the first part of my runthrough of the game:

Love the feeling it gives. I've been wanting to make something like this for some time.
Louder than Thunder is a game about the circumstances we are given in life, how they are sometimes unavoidable. But how we cope with them is important.
Make a hero, do quests, burn rapists alive and pick mushrooms all to form the mythical crystal lotus.
