Silentective is an interactive Visual Novel detective game with Point & Click investigation sequences and Top-down exploration. Play as a mute detective named Silen, investigate and solve the sudden murders of your acquaintances, solve the overarching mystery of your captors and the truth of your imprisonment, all without speaking!
Do you have one wish that's worth risking it all for? Silen and many others, after signing their names away on a document requesting their participation in an experiment in return for having a single wish granted, find themselves trapped within a mansion with vague, yet firm rules. As paranoid assumptions arise from the group, they eventually believe only one person can truly achieve their wish by the end, driving the group into complete division. As people protect their one desire through violence, Silen is put to the test; Can he solve the sudden murders within the group and keep peace despite his inability to communicate verbally? What will the group do with the alleged killers, and what if Silen accidentally accuses the wrong person? Will the alleged killers be shown mercy, or face the same fate as their victims, regardless of their true guilt? What organization would put them through this, and allow these murders? Finally, will the group choose to sacrifice everyone's freedom even further in the name of security, or risk harm in the name of freedom?
