Bootleg games were always a fascinating rabbit hole within the video game industry. They were strange enigmas and there were probably so much more behind them than just the surface level information we already have about them. These types of games always have at least some mystery to them, plenty of questions that’ll never be answered. Why were those particular games made? Who were the actual developers involved with the project and what were their actual motives?
But among them was a game which supposedly had a story with a case so rare and unlike the others. That game would be a seemingly cancelled pirated Sonic game called “SUPER SONIC 1998 7-in-1”. It was rumored it never released because it was believed to be 'cursed' according to some. That in itself is already unbelievable and I’ve been searching for the website that had supposedly archived it. If you were to EVER come across it, play it at your own risk. Once you play it, you cannot unsee it all.
