What do you think?

I did a bit of a playthrough of the game and it's pretty solid so far. The combat is a bit different, which I like, but there are times I get screwed due to being in a tunnel or something like CoalFire said. It could use a bit of an adjust for the level layout, though overall it's a nice game with a nice retro feel to it.

My video showing first thoughts and such.

So I really love the art and sound, the platforming itself is alright, maybe a bit floaty, but the combat was a little funky to me. I like the idea of only having a slam attack as a blob, but with the extremely cramped level design, speed, size and bounciness of the enemies, I found myself dying simply because I couldn't get over the little buggers. Most of the time it was because I'd get caught on a ledge or ceiling, it was less of an issue, but not absent, outside. You're onto something fun here, I just think it needs a bit of tuning in the combat and level design interaction.

I wonder if you ever pay attention to your views. Once they were at 99. Now they’re at 149. You’re welcome. I wonder when you’re going to come back to us. I don’t know how to feel about you. Should I be mad? Should I cry? Remember when I helped you do test runs on this game? I miss you. I blame myself for you leaving. I wish I could tell you everything. I miss you. Come back to us...soon ok? That way I can tell you all about my grade 12 year and the surprise that came in second semester. His name starts with a B and ends with a N
