OK I made an acc just so i could comment on this..!! This game scared the living hell out of me and my boyfriend!! It kept us on edge the entire playthrough!!
while the pixel aspect may give some the impression of simplicity and innocence; it really keeps you trying to stay focused and hurriedly try to memorize good escape patterns!
I wont spoil the ending(s) for anyone who hasn't already played, but i definitely this game outta be one to give a play, even as your first spooky/horror themed game!!

This is a really good game! I'm glad I came across it, but if I may ask, how do I get to the true ending, I've been trying to figure that out.

Swilcrad is a sidescrolling #horror game with RPG-like elements. It was influenced by other 2D horror games, such as Ao Oni and Lone Survivor.
You play the role of Alistair, a curious daredevil who sets out one night to explore a dull, abandoned prison with his sister. But what they find is anything but dull. When Alistair's sister mysteriously vanishes after a blackout, he must traverse the prison searching not only for her, but answers to Swilcrad's mysterious past.
The game has multiple endings... Can you find the perfect one?
