this game caused me great pain
I want to like it because the purpose behind the game IS noble, shedding light on the horror of residential schools and the guilt of the church is extremely important! However, I felt there were needlessly frustrating aspects that killed my interest early on. I don't think you should introduce enemies that can easily kill the player so early, such creates pointless tedium that will turn away a lot of players. It's better to allow the player to adjust things like brightness and mouse sensitivity. You don't want to force the player to hold down E or Q to sprint, such is unintuitive and uncomfortable. I am glad to see that many people weren't as annoyed by these issues as I and enjoyed the game. I would not go as far to say it was a failure by any means, it just wasn't my cup of tea.
I replayed. Cool. https://youtu.be/osnzEDHYcC0
The first room could use better lighting, I got through by joking about touching a panting's dick and got a record by doing so. i was lost for about five minutes until then
