Welcome to tlDR Engine!
Make sure to check out the Discord server! It's incredible for asking questions and recieving updates first! https://discord.com/invite/x3t8JTyC2p
!! It's highly recommended to clone the engine using GitHub if you plan to develop something long-term !!

One of the first independent 1:1 DELTARUNE Engines built in Gamemaker Studio 2, the software that was used to create DELTARUNE. This Engine is very customizable as well, and is being actively supported by its developers.
The Engine is very straightforward and advanced at the same time. Encounters, cutscenes and menus are all there! (The Engine also includes all UI elements of base deltarune, like the chapter select screen and the save select menu.)

This engine is quite simple to use, but in case you have any questions, please ask them in this Discord server!
If you want to request a feature or want me to change something, you may put that request in the according channel in the server mentioned above.
There is no straight up documentation per se, (at least for now) so the Discord server can be considered a very interactive documentation, if you will.
Please also link the engine somewhere on your game page or recordings and please do not re-destribute the engine.
Framing the engine as your own is not too cool, either.
Jumpstart
If you are planning to pull new versions once they are released, please open the repository with GitHub Desktop and clone it on your local device. Once you're all set, you'll be able to fetch and pull the new versions from origin.

If not, however, you can download the engine like a zip file or copy it as a template to a new repository.
