NOTE: THE PREVIOUS ITERATION OF THIS GAME (AS SEEN IN THE BANNER AND OFFICIAL SCREENSHOTS) IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

The previous iteration has been removed in order to avoid confusion for anyone looking for the stuff I have been posting more recently.

Welcome to Your New Home

It started as just an ordinary day, but by nightfall, you found yourself taken captive, on your way to a new land, a new home, with new people. You don't know the rules, and you don't speak the language. If you try to run, they'll hunt you down. All you can do at this point...is try.

But That Would Be Too Easy, Wouldn't It?

Life isn't easy in this new village, but an attack by an unusual foe suddenly pushes ordinary cares by the wayside. Who were they? Why did they attack? What are these artifacts that they have left behind?

Crafting is complete on the input side of things Just need to reverse the situation so that you can click on a recipe and have it autopopulate Otherwise, things are going exceptionally well Now I just need to come up with some more recipes

Progress on the crafting, but hit a snag which, at this point, my brain is just going in circles on how to fix I figured out a way that I can do the from-scratch crafting without taking up a ton of time and code.

Crafting is now underway. Experiment with new ingredients or use a tried and true recipe you already know I'm wondering how detailed I want to make this, if I want to stick to 2+2 for more complex items, or try to implement a cook from scratch option

Dialogue day, making sure some of the necessary dialogue is available for the player to get information. Throw in an art day here pretty soon and I should be able to speed through the inciting plot points and get the adventuring started

Ahem! Today I am going to tell you the story of the Thousand-Year D--No. Wait. That's not right.
(No audio. Haven't found the right background ambience yet)

Believe it or not, much progress was made today. A lot of art got done. Got the female body made and some clothing items. Also finished the starting animation (seen here). If I can finish the opening scenes, we will have a full start to a game

Lighting and environment fixes so they are more consistent across scenes. Shadows look and function a lot better (hard to see in night cycle but really looks good in day). Other progress was limited due to babysitting the flooferpoof in picture 2

All maps now have unique terrains, but...oof. Imma have to work on this lighting especially because it makes the set piece looks like crap. Also need to mark the cave entrance a little better somehow But I'm sure this bridge is TOTALLY SAFE

Followers will now spawn into battle with you and they have their own battle menu options Otherwise, doing some landscaping and other light housekeeping elements. I would very much like to get the primary village and surrounding area good and finished

We now have a follower menu to display stats. The subviewport only serves as a glaring reminder that I should get some art and animation done in the near future Also need to work on follower swapping and at least spawning into battle
