What do you think?

Just tried it out with the voice recognition, worked really good, it usually heard me correctly and I liked how it gave you different options :)

Also wondering if you have seen the game event[0] on steam which also uses a chatbot for NPCs

Hey I just finished playing, I hope you continue to develop it's really interesting to play, but also very interesting to me as a developer trying to do something very similar!

Just downloaded the game I can't wait to try it I've been working on the same sort of idea for NPC interaction, I looked into AIML but decided to write own system in C#, I'm really interested to see how well it works out!

Turing Adventure

The classic graphical adventure revisited. No more selections of text lines during conversations. Instead, chat naturally with non-playable characters. Don’t explore, live the adventure.

  • Story In this point-and-click adventure, the player is incarnated by a human trapped in a robot-planet, in which mankind is banned under penalty of DEATH. Luckily, you are disguised as a robot, but it won’t deliver you from troubles. Now, you are trapped on a human-life-cleaning cell, and you have five minutes to escape. Will you be able? Or will you waste your last five minutes of life speaking with your new robo-friends?

  • Key innovations The game has been developed using a chatbot technology as an engine to give the non-playable characters a personality and the ability to speak freely. Also, since version 2.0, you can play your game with your own voice using voice recognition and voice synthesis. If you want to know more about the game, we are writting about the design process here: http://blog.cortastudios.com/designing-turing-adventure-part-three-turing-adventure-overview-and-design-choices/

  • Where are we? We released a version for the #adventurejam!

After each game, Turing Adventure asks you for permission to send us the conversations you had with the NPC.
