I actually want us to be in hardcore mode temporarily so Frisk starts to gain Determination on their own making them not need Chara which would allow for another choice whether we want Chara's help still or not.

This is such a simple way, to harden this attack.

Causing us to be temporarily on hardcore mode.
This isn't an easy world.
Frisk isn't even capable of saving themself.

Sans actually wants to die at the point when we kill his brother.

He is ready to die just to kill the human.

Even if they have their ability, he thinks it can't last forever.
And who knows?
What if he's right?
Relying on just a power is irresponsible.

I think I'll make a fangame with Sans from this, but from an alternate timeline.
Cause canonically (what already someone is gonna try to steal) he gets quite emotional at the battle.
So the fangame one will have the original undertale-like chill sans.
