Interesting game.
For some people, the level editor included in this game will be the main draw; it allows players to create their own levels, their own items (including equippable items!), and even their own custom playable characters!
In a magical land, populated by unicorns, griffins, and various talking farm animals, where the weather is controlled by a flying pegasus team, do you ever wonder what happens when the weather team goes on strike?
...Well, that's complicated: first, the union sabotages the cloud-making factory so that it rains indoors as a bargaining tool. Then, the flying-unicorn princess makes things worse by sending in hostile golems made of gemstones to kill the union members in retaliation. Finally, the princess's sociopathic student-of-magic dives into the situation to shut down absolutely EVERYONE'S plans by destroying the golems and shutting down the factory. AND she takes her five pony-friends along for the ride.

This is Weather Factory Meltdown, a platformer fangame for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series, with a good chunk of inspiration from the Rainbow Factory fanfic. Originally, it wasn't a parody, but after what happened to Fighting is Magic, I...had to make some changes to the plot to make it a parody.
This is a work in progress; I'm adding features to the game as I go. In mid-2015, I added a dialog system. In late 2015, I added parallax scrolling, and then customizable NPCs. In early 2016, I added event flags and if-statements to the NPCs' scripting system. In early 2017, I added the ability to have the NPCs' function as platforms and perfected their collision-detectiong. I spent most of 2019 adding an inventory system and equippable items that you can actually see on your playable character. My most recent release sees me adding customizable attacks to NPCs, which allows the user to create their own boss battles! Hopefully next I'll add the ability to give playable characters some custom attacks, too...
Did I mention that the game includes and editor, and that, long-term, I'd like this to be available so that anyone can make platformer games with it?
