I just finished watching Brendan Fraser’s The Whale. 

Brendan rightfully so won an Oscar for his incredible and captivating performance as Charlie.

The movie was an emotional one and it was hard to keep from tearing up at parts. I won’t go into spoilers but this movie deserves to be seen. The title’s meaning and connection is explained as the movie goes on and is also huge in the ending.

The main takeaways from this raw and powerful story are that it’s never too late to make things right, and it’s never too late to be forgiven.

This is a story that can reveal what pain does to someone along with how one’s selfishness can hurt others.

The things that can keep us going are knowing that people can be amazing and that people are capable of caring and helping one another. 🖤

In the end, love is powerful it can destroy us or uplift us.
