Debug was a normal Classic Sonic in a Sonic 2 cartridge, until the person with the cartridge started experimenting with Sonic 2's debug mode. This person soon started getting addicted to debug mode, using it every time they turned on the game, even messing around with it on Youtube Livestreams. Although, unbeknownst to this person, this Sonic had feelings. After lots of torture to the hedgehog with debug mode, he finally snapped, glitching the person's game, turning the blue blur into this monstrosity. This now-known Debug turned their body parts into assets in Sonic 2's files. Debug didn't have bad intentions toward his fellow friends, but was insane enough to go on a rampage with flickies, even almost killing Robotnik in the process. This person tried to stop it, but their means were pointless. After some time, this hedgehog managed to get his hands on the game's controls, and got insane enough to start using it to make his friends and enemies to go through the same torture he went through.

(Danger classes are determined based on how harmful they are to other characters and the player themselves. Debug is highly dangerous towards everything else in his game, but cannot harm the players by himself. Plus, he can be killed. It's just kinda difficult to.)
