Lemme tell ya, this is kind of a shitpost one.

Cross was a Tails in an AU that had been convinced to be in a religion that a few of his so-called 'friends' made up. This religion would sacrfice Flickies on this made up god called 'Cross.' (You see where I'm going here?) Anyways, Tails thought this was completely fine, yet was anxious the first time considering how it was basically Sonic and Tails' job to protect them in the first place. Soon enough, Tails went to perform a 'prayer' (Which is what they call their Flicky-sacrificing rituals), only to see a disturbing sight...

Sonic... They were going to sacrifice his hero. Tails tried to stop them, since Sonic was his best friend. Although, unfortunately for him, they sacrificed him too... Although, the unspeakable happened. Tails woke up in a blank space, and some unknown demon showed up, claiming itself to be Cross, the god they were sacrificing the animals to all this time. It also claimed that it can give Tails one of any wish he may desire... And Tails decided to take that chance to get revenge on his fake friends. And Cross did as he asked, although at the price of taking over Tails' body in the process. Cross killed his own cult, and then proceeded to kill the rest of mobius, to demonize them. The rest of the story is similar to Nightmare Beginning, Nightmare Continued and Eye of Three, since there are other forces trying to stop Cross.

Cross hates Curse with a passion, and managed to make good friends with a whole lot other Exes. He's aware of Exetior, and his game's gang's existence, yet does not try to inerfere with the war that is to soon come. Be like Cross.
