1.2 PROGRESS REPORT #3:

I've got good news and bad news.

The bad news is that the currently unfinished party members probably aren't happening this update.

But, the update's also PROBABLY coming out relatively soon. Possibly next week, but no promises.


I've hit a bit of a motivational slump when it comes to working on the unfinished party members and I don't feel like stalling this update any longer, so I'm going to put them on the shelf for now. I'll probably give it another attempt sometime in the future, a lot of the ideas I've been working on already have partially or fully complete movesets, but it won't be happening in this specific update.

But the good news is that almost everything else is going smoothly, and I've added some extra touches here and there that I wasn't originally planning on including. I still need to set up that equipment shop for Vintage, but that's really it.

Also I made a new joke party member exclusive to the Berny Route (which I'm not counting as a real party member since there aren't any fights you can use him in).

Next up

Technically this update actually came out about half an hour ago, I just wanted to add in a little something before announcing it.

Here's a vaguely defined list of all the games I played in 2025.

I'd also like to mention Fool Time, the recent Jon Bois miniseries about the telegraph, as an honorary "Highlight of the Year."

It's an honorary mention since Fool Time isn't a video game.

I did it because the schnoz felt off center.

And also to fix the game breaking bug, that too.

1.2 PROGRESS REPORT #2:

The new route is complete. There's still more I want to do, but I'm in the homestretch.

No concrete release date yet, but I'll probably be out sometime before May 10th.

Emphasis on probably. Releasing before then isn't guaranteed.

I have spent the last few weeks wondering on and off if putting these two in a room together would be a character design faux-pas for a thing I haven't even started working on yet (and it's possible, though unlikely, I never will).

No idea if it's ever going to get finished (it's still mostly concepts at the moment) but I've been playing around with this idea in my head for a while now, so I felt like bringing it up.

Anyways, here's front facing Buckets.

There's a new Wes Anderson movie coming out within the next two months, so I've got something to look forwards to for the immediate future.

Or at least a closer future than some of the other stuff I'm looking forwards to, anyways.
