One year ago, I started the development of what we now know as Dolma's: Behind the Scenes, and I would like to share with you guys how this game was born.
Since I finished my last project, I had on my pc a little txt file containing some ideas for future projects, both ideas which ended up being in Dolma's BTS, and some others which didn't.
From september to march (2019 - 2020) I was quite busy, therefore I didn't worked on those ideas I had in mind. But the problem began in march, when the pandemic began. At that time, I found myself at home bored and without anything to do. And that's when I started working on those ideas. Was the pandemic the main reason Dolma's BTS exists? Maybe yes.
From the start I wanted to work on a game where the player needed to search for things and solve puzzles, but back then I didn't know how to mix those mechanics with a FNaF game. Back in december 2019 I visited an escape room here where I live, and I realized how cool it would be to have a FNaF game in attraction like that. The idea I had in mind was really cool, hence I started working on it. I would like to share both the new Dolma's and Billy's sketch, but I will leave that for the game's extras.
This is the first game I ever made which is taking more than a year to be made, and I'm really happy that it is finally reaching its last steps of development, it's been a wonderful journey.
