Hi there, so this is the 1st devlog of Hell's Insufferable, which is kinda a way that you can keep track of what is to be expected next year.
Firstly, I want to say a massive thank you to @Inferno64
for letting me and the rest of the team be featured on the Horrorbrew Direct, which gathered a bit more people interested in this project fully.
So, what is happening next with Hell's insufferable?
First off, we have fully moved to a different framework (by @FTK
) from this time of the game being made. The framework in question is the same one that was used for Mario '85 Classic (before its move to Construct 2). With this framework in place, it will be in the middle of being modified to make it have the accuracy of the OG SMAS game (well, only 1/LL for now).
Secondly, the game has now had a reset in development since it was basically disorganized (note that all assets will stay the same). That is basically it for this section.
Thirdly, is there any demo 1 updates? Demo 1 is around 30% in terms of certain things (such as most of the music and some sprites being finished from right now). What about things about its release? Of the day I am typing this, it will be released when it feels ready to be done so.
Two more things before I end it off.
As seen from Harpent's House of Horrorbrews wiki page, the lore will be remade from the ground up, so everything seen right now will either be replaced or not.
And finally, the game is in need of 1 pixel artist who can do backgrounds and large sprites all under all 3 styles of Super Mario All Stars.
