2.0 Map design + Extra clarifications about said V.2.0 update

Hey guys, I'm back to show you guys a little proof of concept starting off what will eventually be the 2.0 update, and also some extra stuff about the update.

First of all, I want to apologize for that last update post, I made that at like 11:30 PM at night and was super tired, so I couldn't get every piece of what I want to do with this project further on. But one thing I do want to mention is that I'm rebuilding this ENTIRE game from the ground up, new drawings, new code, new everything.

For some extra context on "new code" I don't mean that most of the animatronics will have different mechanics, (entirely) I'm talking about changing up what I use to code these different mechanics. And that my friends, is the "counter" tool! Since the beginning of this games progress, I have been following @bradyhege 's Clickteam tutorial series to guide me on this project (Rest in Peice videos). Now obviously, this isn't an issue, but I feel like I was having my hand held while making the game, and to me, I feel like it's time to do it on my own. An example of this? Five Nights at Coso's: PLUS. FNaC:P is a side project I have been working on for about a month now, and while making this game, I used counters instead of "alterable variables" like I used in Northbury Antiques. In my opinion, I feel like alterable variables can get a little overwhelming and/or confusing at times, counters on the other hand, they're very easy to track and very easy to code with. Five Nights at Coso's: PLUS is a nice way to experiment with counters and seeing how that game looks and feels right now, I'm very confident in recoding this game using counters! And seeing how my drawing and editing skills have improved too, I'm eager to redo this game into the best it can be!

Once again, I want to preface that I am not working on this game right now, I'm working on my side project. Progress on this game will most likely start after I complete Coso's: PLUS.

One last thing I want to get out is that I don't need help on the game, and I am not helping any of you with your games unless I feel I have interest in it.

(also nothing is 100% verified if happening)

That is all, stay tuned for future updates!

The idea of an Ultimate Coso's Custom Night sounds so intriguing, but I know that might not be a reality, but here's a map concept I've made so far

I AM MY GOD

- Northbury Antiques 2024 teaser

I made this alternative title for NA 2024. I most likely won't use it since it doesn't fit the game's aesthetic too well, but it is pretty to look at.

So, things have been quiet. Well, reason being we're retexturing work and planning more stuff that'll go into the final. I can't show the other version, but have this one

Here's the general idea of how the rotating cameras come into plan for The Emerald Butterfly! It's going to God knows how long to make the cams and all of the angles so eugghhhhh

Today is #spawnday so in turn, here are some gameplay images taken from Northbury Antiques 2024!

The game is going smoothly in its development despite me being unable to work on it a whole lot.

(everything is a w.i.p. Nothing is final)
