The winter Devlog, the first seasonal based one we’ve had!
It’s been a while since our last devlog, so let's get right into what has been made, what is being worked on, and what is planned!

Sprites! Let's talk about that. The first main area of the game has a lot rooms, now in the last devlog it was mentioned how sketches and concepts for these rooms had been made, and the same can be said again, the concepts are fully done pixel art that have merely yet to been added to the game itself, and a good handful have been finished.
Not enough to be called being “close” to having the whole area sprited, however, still a good amount.
A few cutscenes have had all of their sprites made, a characters textbox sprites have been remade, and, a more major sprite mention we have is..

One last resprite, straying further away from the frisk base we had originally been using to allow for Alecs design to show itself more clearly and allow for easier recognizability.
It had been mentioned before how all movement sprites had been finished, and don’t worry that this resprite will be causing any sort of dent into that or any already made cutscenes.
The new movement sprites have already nearly been all completed, and cutscenes have not been affected at all with transitions with the new sprite into the cutscenes showing no iffyness at all.
Now, onto the next thing that has had its progress worked on:
Concepts
Concepts have already been mentioned regarding rooms, though due to their already debatable finished state they were mentioned either way.
Concepts for the second area of the game have been made, along with concepts for the end of the demo, and even some for the start of the ruins. Once more, a smaller lengthening of the area, which has yet to be decided on if it’ll be used or not.
Extra
We’ve given the gamejolt thumbnail a new look, Alecs reference sheet has been updated, and all battle writing for the miniboss along with the main boss for the demo has been finished. A few osts have been as well.
♡ WHATS NEXT? ♡
Cutscene writing specifically for our mini boss has yet to be finished although a concept of it is in the works, and with what occurs in it all being planned just merely dialogue being finished up, sprites for the cutscenes the writing takes place in is being able to be done.
Work on the rooms is continuing to be something of a main focus, and, not as much of a focus but still needing attention, sprites for attacks. Concepts have already been made for them.
There's more to be done then just these things of course, more writing, probably not even yet planned sprites as more ideas come, but that's part of the process.
There's more to mention, more specifics, but for now I think that’s enough.
