Redesigned Pyromania to be in arena 3 and renamed to frostbite lantern.
Fixed Jelly Gem and Ichor not being able to actually appear as upgrades.
New Enemy: Mock (Arena 7)
Buffed nearly every enemy in the game to have more health
Added a new enemy stat: Defense. Defense is how much damage will be nullified when an enemy takes damage (Ex: 2 Damage / 1.2 Defense = 1.6 Real Damage)
Codex is a bit outdated right now, but I’ll make a mini update to fix it.
Reworked Mirror Mode into Helpless mode, in Helpless enemies deal 2x damage and arena gimmicks (for arenas 3+) are added in. Helpless mode is canon
In addition to that, boss rush has been renamed to story mode as it’s also canon.
3 New Characters!
Zopi (from the facility) can teleport and gets a buff upon being hit.
Marigold (from the greenhouse) can heal herself and carries around a pet snake that poisons enemies!
Hillary (from the church) can illuminate enemies to one shot them!
Pets rework! Instead of pets directly changing your stats at the start of a run, there are now stat multipliers. Depending on the multiplier, the stat is permanently buffed or nerfed for the rest of your run (Ex: Using Spiritual Fox technically makes all speed you have x0.2 permanently). This isn’t stated in the guides menu yet but in a soon patch I should add it.
Lots of teasers for the future updates have been added to guides and codex! Although a lot is subject to change.
A lot of minor changes:
If you already have a weapon, seeing it again will tell you what upgrading it does in a run
Arena 3’s base music change to add the old music into helpless mode
Fixed Jelly Squinns being able to delete Hitscanner’s dot projectile
Every weapon in the game should be upgradeable now, and some upgrades were balanced/tweaked
Notes: My apologies for taking so long on this update, I got really sidetracked and started adding a bunch of stuff. Luckily that means a bigger update for y’all. As for plans for the next update, I might rework Ryler as his slowing is really bad. I also plan on adding the casino next update, which will probably drastically change how runs work and allow a lot more lore. If I’m not burnt out by then, I can probably add around 2-3 new bosses (including reworking the Warden’s fight) and the remaining two enemies for arena 7. I also might add some type of in-game credits as I can’t use gandi ide to credit music anymore.
