Lord Death Man

Lord Death Man is a 1960s Batman villain who used meditation to trick people into thinking he died. He later on just got the power to not die. His design is so fucking cool, his head is a literal skull and he’s dressed in black. My favourite iteration of him was when he was a Japanese Crime Lord.

The Thief

The Thief comes from the movie The Thief and The Cobbler. Though he’s in the title, he’s not really a main character of the movie. But I love him anyway. His design is so well done and along with the rest of the film, he’s animated so well and his body language conveys his emotions very well as he never speaks.

Golden Bat

Golden Bat may be the first ever Superhero, debuting all the way back in 1930. But, my favourite version of him is the version from the 1967 anime (One of the few animes I like) He is insanely powerful and he just laughs. His design is amazing aswell.

Dr Nazo

Dr Nazo is Golden Bat’s enemy and he is also incredible. His design is the selling point for me on him. From the ufo to his claw hand to his four eyes, he’s insanely well designed. Not much to say here but he’s great.

Bonesy

I know he’s not as obscure as the others but I thought I’d give him a mention. Bonesy is a mascot of sorts for Gorillaz. He’s a goofy skeleton man who mainly just does a little dance, as seen at the end of every Song Machine music video. His design is pretty funky aswell. Gorillaz should use him more, in my opinion.
