6.4 Update


R6.4 has released! (July 15 2014).

Changes:

  • Fixed A Bug That Causes The JVM To Run Out Of Memory (Higher FPS & Less Crashes)

  • Different Sounds For What The Player Walks On

  • The Way Entities Shoot & they way projectiles hit mobs were Changed To Use One Better Method (Higher FPS)

  • Updated To Java 7u60 (Not Much Change)

  • Complete Bit Shifting for Important Stuff In Game loop (Higher FPS)

  • Sprites Resizable Through Code

  • Shooting Works After A Resize Of The Window

  • Shooting Is Now x / scale instead of x / 4 meaning the scale command should work properly

  • Pausing No Longer Crashes The Game (Happened Case by Case)

  • Started On An ANT Script

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
