(8/24/22) JR's v1.2.3 is out now!


Hey everyone! JR's v1.1.1+ is out now with a lot of fixes and improvements. Some issues with Windows 11/laptops may not be fixed still, but we hope to get those worked out soon!

THIS DOES NOT FIX ALL ISSUES IN THE GAME! Another developer is taking care of Ramenov's code so please be patient.


Patch Notes:

  • (1.2.3) Stability is now more aggressive with wrong guesses and no longer lowers the maximum stability for each animatronic when a wrong guess occurs

  • (1.2.2) The being in The Barrens can now find you in free mode

  • (1.2.2) Fixed a character attacking multiple ways at once in Night 6

  • (1.2.2) Fixes the continue button going away later in the game

  • (1.2.2) Incorrectly guessing an animatronic will now increase stability depletion amounts for all animatronics on top of previous punishments

  • (1.1.1) Various issues involving the options menu have been fixed (the .ini file was changed to "JRoptions.ini" as well)

  • (1.1.1) Night 6 now has a checkpoint that is only reset once you beat the night or quit out of the game completely

  • (1.1.1) Various issues in Night 6 have been fixed

  • (1.1.1) Night 6 has been completely rebalanced

  • (1.1.1) Replaced a character's jumpscare in Night 6

  • (1.1.1) Do not stray too far from Paulbear (thanks to @Printy and @efefski for contributing)

  • (1.1.1) Fixed inconsistent movement speed in The Barrens

  • (1.1.1) You now cannot get BB as haunted if he was haunted in the last turn

  • (1.1.1) New main night jumpscare sound by @efefski

  • (1.1.1) Paulbear now has his own page in the extras

  • (1.1.1) Selecting in the extras now has a sound

  • (1.1.1) Fixed an issue involving images in the extras sliding slowly

  • (1.1.1) Added a skip for the intro pieces of the game (before the menu)

  • (1.1.1) Animatronic stability meters for all characters will decrease their maximum stability if you incorrectly guess and will now only take off 20 stability from the selected animatronic instead of 50 on a wrong guess

  • (1.1.1) The characters in the extras have been reordered

  • (1.1.1) Character bios in the extras have been cleaned up grammatically (thanks to Theft King)

  • (1.1.1) Lots of visual optimizations in Night 6

  • (1.1.1) Fixed an issue where textures would not load for The Barrens sometimes or at all (potentially)

  • (1.1.1) Some characters in Night 6 have been made gradually more difficult

  • (1.1.1) Edited some dialogue from the cutscenes to make them flow better

  • (1.1.1) Removed the audio button on the bottom right of the Faz-Pad

  • (1.1.1) The Marionette will now play her music whenever you are on her camera without needing to press a button
