I honestly highly anticipated this film. When I went to the theater back in 2023 to see the first I've never been hyped up more than ever. Now that this is out, let me share my thoughts and feelings.
To be honest this movie's visuals are pretty stunning. Like we even got to see the withered animatronics AND the toys looked FIRE. Especially mangle too! I'd say it's even better than the original one.
Next, without going into too much detail, the story was more coherent this time around. Five Nights at Freddy's is known for having the most complicated lore of a video game franchise I've ever seen and to see things taught in a way I could mostly understand.
Another thing about the story, however, is that it felt a bit overwhelming. A lot was happening too quickly and it became a bit overcomplicated to stomach it all for my liking which is kinda a big flaw.
Another thing is that the ending didn't feel the best, since I'm not a fan of having endings, well, end of cliffhangers.
But other than that, I enjoyed this movie. Sure, it may not be for critics and is definitely made for the fans, but it was great nonetheless. That 16 on Metacritic is insane to me.
Honestly, I'm excited for the FNaF 3 movie. Maybe we will even get to see Springtrap actually talk, and I'm even more excited to see him in movie form!
Thank you for anyone who sat and read through this entire review. It really means a lot to me, and I appreciate your support.
