So there is some bad news, but there is also good news. When initially starting the project back in February I initially estimated that we would most likely be done in 2 to 3 years, but then now the more that I look at it further seems the release of the project would be as we are using unity and it was not the right software choice and so we are starting from scratch and are now going to have to say that the project will most likely be done a lot further away than previously intended. Here’s the good news. We are no longer going to use unity as our development software and instead we are going to move to the brand new Unreal Engine 5 for better graphics, easier coding, and just trusting it more than unity as a good software. What this will mean for the estimated release date, I don’t know. If I had to estimate any time length I would say maybe 4 to 5 years until the full project release and there might be a few demos or other projects to support the growth of the community so we can get a lot of hype for the project. I’m sorry this information had to come so quickly in development, but it is for the better, as I see that if we use a more trusted engine with better tools and stuff that we can use, I feel that we made the right choice for the community . We’ll have to see were SNAF goes next, but until then have some golden moments.
