Q: what does "old worlds fall" mean?
A: In the Legacy III finale, the multi-worlds structure of my old lores falls apart in some sort of event, all set in motion by the watcher, who leads the Dark Armada and attempted to assassinate Shadowstorm before Hunt. Hence why the Dark Armada rises to claim the new world that is made by Ancient's sacrifice.
Q: will Ancient truly die for Legacy IV?
A: not really die. More of be consumed by their unstable powers, banished into the Void. They are planned to appear once more, and if the lore pushes anyone to cross the Void, they might appear as some sort of abomination, completely stripped from what remains of their humanity.
Q: why are Fifth, Scourge and the Rat only getting main lore in Legacy IV while they are around already?
A: I had old lore ideas for them, but as Rat is currently called the other Ancient and has a giant plothole, I decided to change their lore, which fits into the Legacy IV war more of. Regarding Scourge and Fifth, Scourge was meant to be apart of the Dark Armada since his concept exists. Fifth has his old main lore, but before Legacy IV, he did split into the new Fifth and Scourge.
Q: is there inspiration behind the Dark Armada? Where did it come from?
A: yes, there is inspiration. Alas, I won't name where it came from, as it would be hard to name the whole mashup I used for the concept. Two different medias, though.
Q: what truly is New World and why did Glassbane join it despite not being able to fight much from his injuries?
A: New World is a group of rebels fighting against the Dark Armada. New World and Rat's faction of streetkids has an alliance, as they both serve the same purpose. They are underground factions, hunted by the Dark Armada. Glassbane joined New World after being helped by Rat, working not as a fighter but a sentry. Glassbane does have many injuries that won't heal, but he's not unable to stand for what is right for New World.
Q: why are you changing the story structures after using the same structure since Legacy II?
A: yes, the multiverse structure did work, but after some time, the worlds got really confusing for people who didn't know the lore. There were too much connections between characters, and I even made it worse with Hunt. The Eleventh Sister referred to Ancient before they were even made, which was, at that point, weird. Changing the structure to one world still allows connections but learning the lore of one character in this case can really give insight about the whole world War Dawns is set in, and it's not just like, 1978292 alternate versions of the same character with slightly different design or behavior, like I was doing with Ancient or Shadowstorm. These two won't show up too much anymore.
Q: what new things does the one world structure give? Will there be references to old lores?
A: yes, there will be minor references to the old lores I made. Not to Legacy I lores as those are pretty damn old and, to be honest, cringe. They also show a lot of personal info about me and my friends, as the characters were pretty much just us. Nor will there be Depths of Conflict references, as that lore is like my Legacy I lores but like, made 8 years later. About the things the new structure gives, there's quite a few things. Shared locations for every character's pov, and all that.
Q: who is the new main character?
A: there are no main characters this time. War Dawns features each character in shared cast. I could say there is an antagonist, the watcher who has no name yet, but no protagonist, as New World and streetkids both have leaders who will appear alongside their allies.
