When humans see a puppy, a chemical called dopamine is released into the brain, causing us to be happy when the chemical is released. The same chemical is released into an elephants brain when they see humans, meaning they think humans are cute the way we think puppy’s are cute.
Side note: This does not include the elephants who will trample down humans in an instant, as they are typically located in areas where people will hunt them for their ivory.
