A huge devlog in a long time

Hello again, uh, as the title suggest, another huge devlog since, forever.

First thing I wanna say, I hope you enjoy the rather surprise release of TNGaU: Eternal Winter Wackiness made by me and my friend @GapYoukai420 for the FNaFb Winter Gamejam last year. Currently it is a demo, but not to worry. Updates will still come to the game for sure.
Go check it out if you haven't already: https://gamejolt.com/games/tngau-the-halls/790245

Now with that out of the way, it's time for a formal announcement to what I've been working on for a long time.

Touhou: Nighter, Grinder and Uncut is getting a Version 3 Update!

You heard that right, another big update is coming to the game. This update will have the following (most of which you've probably have seen in Winter):-

  • Tons of balance changes and/or reworks to certain skills and character passives. Case in point, Physical and Magical attack, as well as the Blind statuses now matters

  • a few new QoL features, such as a new Fast Travel UI, an Objectives menu, Map Transfer Pointers, etc.

  • several graphical overhauls, such as Facesets and a... certain area in EPIIIChapter4

  • Most of the music now properly loops, meaning extended tracks, which are usually 20 to 30 minutes and larger in MB, is now cut down to size and length, and non-extended ones no longer fades out before playing again (big thanks to @GapYoukai420 for providing few of the looped tracks)

  • Here is one of the big feature that I have planned for the entire game, HARD mode will be added to every story mode, well, except for one... which will have something different entirely.

  • Boss Rush for EPI and II has been revamped, along with having battle themes exclusive to it.

  • and many more!

Whew, that's quite a lot. So is that all this update has to offer?

Well, not quite. I've mentioned that HARD mode is only one of the big features for V3. There is one other, the one I've been currently working on...

INTRODUCING...

GENSO COLLOSEUM!

A brand new, non-canon dungeon tower mode where you venture through 7 floors and fight through gauntlets of bosses, including ones never before seen or were never bosses in the story modes proper. even recruiting your party members requires you to fight them!

All of the familiar faces from every episode returns, playables, npcs, random encounters and bosses alike.

Aside from the first floor, each floor has it's own unique gimmick that will surely throw you out of the loop. Some of which might prove to be helpful in a long run...

Here are a couple of teaser images for what's to come in this mode!

Why is it suddenly nighttime? Hm...

Changing tracks? In a FNaFb fangame? More likely than you think...

Whew, that was one heck of an announcement eh? Which one of the two big features are you looking forward to? Let me know what you think.

One other thing I have to say, I apologize for taking a long time for any form of updates. I have worked on the next game in the series for a bit, before I decided put in hold for a bit and return to TNGaU to give it one last, major update.

That being said... I did work on a little, "side project" during development. If you've gotten a certain bonus member in TNGaU Winter, you might correctly guess what it is.
Well, what kind of dev am I if I don't give a bit of a teaser? Here's something to look forward to...

Stay tuned...

Signed (wow I haven't done this in a while, anyway),
