Doing R&D stuff...
Look at this sprite from my game "Cute monster my new friend":
ALL the sprites of this monster were done in more or less than 5 hours (TOO LONG).
Now, look at this experimental thing:
Don't mind the colour choices. Focus on the style of what you are seeing.
The first image, is perfectly round, all geometric and aligned. (LONG to make).
The second image is drawn on paper and transformed as ready to be coloured and imported in Construct 3, but not perfectly round and aligned like the first one. (WAY quicker for releasing nice new games).
If the assets of the incoming game have a style of the second image, but with a lot of work in the drawing, of course. Will you play it if the same fun as if done with the perfectly rounded and aligned one?
The differences? Just no perfectly round geometry and lines, only that.
