2 NEW MAIN LEVELS

  • Dash.

  • Explorers.

  • 4 new platformer levels.

PLATFORMER MODE

  • in 2.11 you only have 1 option: the cube can only go forward. and in 2.2 this will change: you can go in any direction you want! even backwards.

  • The ship changes into a jetpack when you are in platformer mode.

  • hitting a block from the top won't kill you.

  • There are too ice blocks (only for platformer) and like the name says: it lets you slide.

EDITOR AND GAMEPLAY

Triggers:

  • Random Trigger, this trigger activates triggers Randomly.

  • Advanced Random Trigger, the same as the random trigger but you can tweak the odds a little bit more.

  • Timewarp Trigger, slows or speeds up the game. unlike the speed portal affecting how far you can jump, the physics won't change with the timewarp trigger.

  • End trigger, this will be activated and then ending the level instead of you having to go through it entirely.

  • Song trigger, allows creators to skip a part of the song that they are using, you can litterly make a sound board with this.

  • Gradient trigger, this trigger will probably make a gradient in the background of the level.

  • Scale trigger, increases/decreases the size of a group.

  • Reverse trigger, just like the mirror portal but you can select an orb to change the direction too.

  • Arrow trigger, changes gravity of the player.

  • Option trigger, can stop the player control.

  • Pause trigger, pauses the game

  • Resume trigger, resumes the game

  • Follow trigger, although not much known about the trigger I think it would be like the Follow player Y trigger but then with X added.

  • Reverse Direction, Reverses the direction.

  • Area trigger, makes a area around the player a curtained color/gradient.

  • Keyframe Trigger, this will be activated by the animate trigger that was in 2.11 the most useless trigger with now in 2.2 being actually useful

  • Song select, makes you change the song.

  • SFX library, there are over 13000+ sounds to choose from

  • You can now make 9999 as a max instead of 999

Camera Triggers:

  • Rotate trigger, rotates the camera.

  • Zoom trigger, zooms in / zooms out the camera.

  • Static trigger, freezes the camera in place.

  • Offset trigger, pushes the camera.

  • Guide trigger, not much is known about this camera trigger, but it will probably show the borders of a camera trigger.

  • Free fly mode, removes the ground borders. this is a selectable option for a portal.

Camera Filters:

  • Shock wave filter, makes a shock wave from the middle of the screen.

  • Shock line filter, makes a shock line across the screen.

  • Glitch filter, glitches the screen.

  • Chromatic filter, makes a chromatic effect on the screen.

  • Pixelate filter, Pixelates the screen, you could make a 1900's Mario game with this easily.

  • Lens filter, makes a lens at a position on the screen.

  • Bulge filter, bulges the screen on a desired position.

  • Sepia filter, makes the entire screen black and white.

  • Invert color filter, inverts the colors of the screen.

  • Gray scale filter, makes the level only 1 color (with shades) because this one is so hard to explain, here is how it looks like:

  • Motion blur filter, blurs the screen.

Gameplay:

  • Swingcopter mode, you can already create this in geometry dash 2.11 by making a green orb multi trigger and making it follow the player and making it alpha: 0.
    It is basically just the ball but you can click mid air.

  • Spider Orb, this orb is just like spider mode but it is accessible to every game mode.

  • Invert gravity portal, this is PROBABLY the most useless 2.2 feature, it just inverts your gravity.

  • Untouchable option, makes a block untouchable, the block will be just for decoration.

  • Passable option, this is just like untouchable option but you can stand on it up top.

  • Hidden option, makes a block hidden in the game but shown in the editor.

  • Force block option, forces you in any direction.

Decoration

  • Pixelated block, there are A LOT of pixelated blocks in 2.2

  • Animated blocks, there are too a lot of animated blocks in 2.2

  • Particle editor, you can create particles very advanced with the particle editor. you can change what shape the particle is, what force it goes and you can even make it an image, like: EXTREME DEMON!1!1!!

  • Auto build, allows you to make a template and then use that template for blocks, this is so advanced that I could make an entire new chapter for this.

  • More backgrounds.

  • More fonts.

Icons

  • More Death Effects.

  • 700+ new icons.

  • New swingcopter icons.

Extras:

  • Custom Gauntlets.

  • New shops.

  • Tier 3, 4, 5, 6 chests.

  • FPS bypass.

  • More shards.

  • The map.

  • The safe.

  • Event level.

  • Moons (collectable)

  • Again available on google play

  • Lists.

  • And much more!
