Added colors to one of my sketches for the cover of my comic!
I like it and hate it at the same time but I still have like 5 months to give the real finished cover to my publisher so I'll keep trying out stuff!
Another page for my comic!
New idea to make my work faster and easier: when you don't need the background for an action, just don't draw it!
(Also I used references pick for Louis trying to open the box and omg they were quite ridiculous :') )
After a quick sketch, I refined all of my new emotes to have a nice base for the lineart!
Trying out different compositions~
And 2 pages of mini-studies finished!
I'm pretty proud of them and I really feel like I've improved. I'm preparing some more to make later when I'll have more time :)
You've seen me add a new sticker pack recently, most of the images come from my twitch emotes that I redrew last month!
So here is a little behind the scene of how I made them! First of: quick sketches!
With a bit of magic and colors, the new emotes come to life!
A few tips for people who want to make emotes:
- Thick back line for the elements in the foreground
- Lighten around eyes/mouth to make them pop
- Always check how it looks as a small thumbnail!
Starting a little something for my comic project...
A little page of storyboard for my comic!
I had more fun with this one, I think I have to keep pushing and make fun compositions for the pages!
