A "little" review of Gang Garrison 2. (The reason why this is in the game page is because It's what inspired me to make TM)


--BASIC INFO--

Gang Garrison is a very early TF2 fangame by mrfredman and MedO for the 2008 TIGSource.com 'Bootleg Demakes' competition (yeah 2008, that's BEFORE the Scout Update, so stuff like the Bonk! Atomic Punch didn't exist.)

--GAMEPLAY--

The gameplay is (admittedly) TF2 dumbed-down to a comical point. Each class has only one weapon and ammo regenerates. But all of the classes are there and they work like they should, Scout (renamed to Runner) is fast and has the Scattergun, the Rocketman (Soldier) has a Rocket Launcher and can rocket jump, the Firebug (Pyro) has the Flamethrower and can even airblast, the Detonator (Demoman) can place and detonate Stickybombs, the Overweight (Heavy, and yes they literally called him the OVERWEIGHT) has the Minigun and can even eat a Manvich, the Constructor (Engineer) has a Shotgun and can construct autoguns, the Healer (Medic) has the Medigun that both shoots needles and heals (along with Superburst), the Rifleman (Sniper) can headshot, and the Infiltrator (Spy) can fucking SUCK.

--GRAPHICS--

The game is done in a decent but charming pixel art style. The game looks at bit bad at times but it's charming, plus the proportions aren't half bad!

--AUDIO--

For starters, I'm a big hater of 8bit sound effects, but this game sounds pretty decent. And it has a lot of charming little chip tune covers of TF2 songs.

--CONCLUSIONS--

The game is.... Alright.

Dont get me wrong, I'm super glad this game exists otherwise, I wouldn't be sitting here on my ass, writing this dumb post.

So, yeah, if you wanna play GG2, you can but reminder: the game is dead and it has no bots, so get some friends to play with you if they resist your dumb shenanigans. (Or you have friends in the first place)

Recently created a new design for how to represent myself (without actually taking pictures and showing my very real and not-leaf face), so... new PFP!

Made a new, sleeker logo for Tyrannical Madness! Featuring it's a different font from TF2 and a ✨non misspelled name✨

I was reminiscing over when I put Pickle in Tyler, The Creator album covers when I realized that... as a character, he'd fit Earl Sweatshirt's catalog much more.

So I did all of his albums. All of them. Including mixtapes and EPs.

I've been wanting to do this drawing for a good while, the song is goes so hard, I suggest it :3

Here we have the pure-blooded American that bleeds red, white and blue! In both PRPL and GRN flavours. (Yeah the rocket launcher and left hand kinda suck don't worry)

Made two header things for Assassination Sunday (A game @ThePyroCone is making)

Tried to do a little something different to show the new TM class icons (Only did the offense for now)
